January 25-30 2016
The last week of January is set aside to celebrate National School Choice Week! This is an opportunity for schools nationwide to come together and raise public awareness of the many different schooling options available, from public to private schools, charters, and even homeschooling options.
Having a school choice means parents can decide what the best educational environment possible is for their family, for their children. During National School Choice Week, events are held at different schools around the country to promote the freedom of school choice, as well as the many different things that make each school unique. In addition to helping raise awareness of schooling options, the National School Choice Week is also a valuable resource of information for families looking for everything from educational grants, to school options in their city.
We know that we may not be the best choice for everyone, but we are the perfect choice for some.

Innovation Academy is a registered supporter of National School Choice Week because we understand that every student has different needs when it comes to their education, and sometimes the “status quo” is just not good enough. Just as all people learn and communicate differently, we must also recognize that all school environments function differently. Innovation Academy strives to raise the bar when it comes to education!
At Innovation Academy, we see and meet the need for some children to have a small classroom environment, the need for an individualized curriculum, and the need for a safe nut-free school. We know that we may not be the best choice for everyone, but we are the perfect choice for some.
